Intoxicated CCS Driver Gets Five Days In Jail

A former Columbus City Schools bus driver was sentenced this morning to five days in jail for driving while intoxicated last year. 51-year-old Tia Denton pleaded guilty last December after being stopped by police a month earlier. Police say she was driving erractically and was two hours late in dropping off students from Southwood Elementary School. Denton subsequently resigned.
