Investigations Into Disappearances Of Two Local Women Hit Milesones

The search for a missing Springfield woman is now three years old. Police say Amanda Romine's disappearance and apparent murder is an active case, but they have few leads. Romine vanished from her home in July, 2013. Her family is planning a vigil this weekend to raise awareness of the case.   Meanwhile, the search for the person who police believe killed a missing Marysville woman is now 15 years old. Patricia Adkins was last seen clocking out from her job at the Honda plant. Shortly before her disappearance, her sister says Adkins told her she was going to Canada with her boyfriend for the Independence Day holiday weekend. Adkins’ body has not been found, but investigators have declared her dead. The Union County Sheriff’s Office is asking for tips from the public to help locate her killer.
