Jackets Trade Johansen, Saad Makes All-Star Team

The Columbus Blue Jackets have traded center Ryan Johansen to the Nashville Predators for defenseman Seth Jones.

The 23-year-old Johansen played in every game for Columbus the past two seasons. The fourth overall pick in the 2010 draft had 26 points in 38 games this season. Jones was the fourth overall pick in the 2013 draft, and has played 40 games for Nashville this season. Johansen is ranked fourth in franchise history in total points. Meanwhile, Jackets forward Brandon Saad is the team's only player to be named to this year's NHL All-Star game on January 31st.
