Judge Dismisses Charges Against Relative Of Slain Rhoden Family Member

Pike County Sheriff's Office

A judge has dismissed evidence tampering and vandalism charges against the brother of one of the eight victims of last year's Pike County slayings. Prosecutors asked for the dismissal to take the case against James Manely to a grand jury and keep additional evidence out of court. Manley was accused of destroying a GPS tracking device placed on his truck last month by investigators. His attorney thinks investigators are trying to pressure Manley and wants to know what evidence prosecutors have.
