Judge Extends Restraining Order Against Columbus' New Gun Regulations

A Franklin County judge Monday extended the temporary restraining order issued last month halting enforcement of the City of Columbus' new gun regulations.

The extension allows the judge  more time to rule on a preliminary injunction. Two pro-gun groups sued the city last month claiming the new regulations violate state pre-emption laws preventing cities from regulating guns. The city says that law does not apply to the new measures.
