Judge To Oversee Steubenville Rape Case Probe

A retired Jefferson County judge will oversee the grand jury investigating other potential suspects in the Steubenville rape case. The Ohio Supreme Court appointed judge Joseph Bruzzese at the request of other Jefferson County judges who are sensitive to claims of a cover-up in the original investigation. The grand jury will begin meeting next month to determine whether teenage witnesses, parents and coaches of the convicted Steubenville High School football players will be charged in connection with the rape of a 16-year-old girl last summer.
