DuPont

A federal jury in Columbus says chemical giant DuPont acted with malice by dumping C8 from its Washington Works plant West Virginia into the Ohio River. Jurors say the chemical used to make Teflon caused an Ohio man to get cancer and awarded him 5.1 million dollars.  Jurors today will begin deciding the amount of punitive damages. There are 35-hundred such lawsuits.
