A Summit County jury resumes deliberations today in the case of a self-styled street preacher accused of killing three men he lured to Eastern Ohio with phony on-line job offers.
Closing arguments were held Monday in the case of 53-year-old Richard Beasley. Defense attorneys attacked the prosecution's identity theft and robbery motives as baseless. The prosecution calls Beasley the mastermind of the plot. Beasley's co-defendant, Brogan Rafferty, was convicted and sentenced to prison last year.
