Jury Finds ONG Major Guilty Of Abusing Children

Sentencing is pending for an Ohio National Guard Major convicted by a Union County jury on Friday of sexually abusing three adopted daughters and a stepdaughter at their Marysville home. 42-year-old Jean Kruse was convicted of 15 of the 23 counts against him, including rape and sexual battery. He was accused of abusing girls who were under age 13. Prosecutors also allege he and his wife abruptly sent a fourth girl out of state in July 2012 and threatened the remaining children in the family with a similar fate to keep them from talking about what they knew. His wife Emily testified she never saw signs of such abuse. She has also been charged in the case.
