Republican Ohio Senate President Tom Niehaus says the so-called "Heartbeat Bill" is dead in the lame-duck session of the legislature.
Backers say they won't give up, and are still hoping for a last-minute maneuver to get it to the Senate floor before the end of the year. But a supporter of restrictions on abortion who is not getting involved is Governor John Kasich. He talks with Ohio Public Radio's Karen Kasler.
