Kasich Will Attend Netanyahu's Address To Congress

Ohio Governor John Kasich is headed to Washington to attend Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's address to a joint session of Congress.

The speech Tuesday comes after House Speaker John Boehner invited Netanyahu without notifying the Obama administration. The Israeli leader's visit has exposed deep tensions with the White House.  Kasich spokesperson Rob Nichols confirmed on Monday that the governor, who is considering a 2016 presidential bid, will hear the prime minister's speech and is expected to attend events that Boehner is holding for Netanyahu before and after his address.
