Columbus, Oh – Less than three months into his administration, Governor John Kasich has the lowest job approval rating of any Governor since 1983, according to the latest Ohio Poll conducted by the University of Cincinnati. 40 percent of Ohioans approve of the job Kasich is doing. In the wake of his push to eliminate some collective bargaining rights for public employees, Kasich's approval rating is particularly low in unionized households -- which account for roughly one-fifth of the people who responded to the poll. The survey of 908 Ohioans has a margin of error of three percentage points. Poll director Eric Rademacher talks about the results with Alison Holm.
