Lancaster Mayor Gets House Arrest For Failing To File Taxes

Republican Lancaster Mayor Brian Kuhn pleaded guilty yesterday to charges of attempted failure to file tax returns.  Kuhn failed to to file state tax returns for two years. Kuhn was sentenced to 90 days house arrest and he must give up his certified public accountant license.  Kuhn, who rejected calls from Fairfield County Republicans to resign, will be allowed to stay in office. His wife Bridget was sentenced last July to four years in prison for stealing money from her former employer and a veterans group to support her gambling addiction.
