Lancaster police say an elderly couple were found shot and killed early Wednesday at their home in a suspected murder-suicide case. Police say 83-year-old Robert Van Evra called a relative to say he'd shot his 83-year-old wife Ruth and was going to hurt himself. Police say a handwritten note was found at the scene. A motive has not been released.
