Landlord's Probation Revokation Hearing Delayed
A Franklin County judge yesterday delayed the hearing of landlord Sam Vazirani while he decides whether Vazirani defied his probation by failing to sell his rental properties.
Probation officer Kevin Clark says Vazirani owns or controls at least 12 properties under the names of three different holding companies. Clark also says has talked with tenants who have told him that Vazirani is their landlord. Vazirani's attorney made no statements in court yesterday. The hearing will resume next Tuesday. Last April, Vazirani was ordered to sell his properties after pleading no contest to code violations at a Franklinton home that caught fire in December 2011, killing three tennants.
