Dayton, OH – The Last Truck has been nominated for an Oscar. The short film by local filmmakers Julia Reichert and Steve Bognar documents the final days during the closure of the General Motors Moraine Assembly Plant outside of Dayton. The Academy has extened invitations to several of the former autoworkers to attend the ceremony. From member station WYSO, Emily McCord has the story.
