Lawmakers "Fixing" Red Light Bill

Ohio lawmakers are trying to fix a bill that makes obeying red lights in certain situations optional. The law, which is supposed to take effect next month, allows cars and bicycles to go through red lights if the operators believe the light has stopped working.  But Columbus police say there's no way for drivers to know if a light is broken or is just taking a while to change, meaning the measure poses a public safety hazard.
