Leader of Bob Evans Farms Stepping Down

The CEO of New Albany-based Bob Evans Farms is stepping down after more than eight years on the job, as part of an agreement with the company. Steve Davis is also giving up his position as a member of the company's board of directors.The company has created an interim Office of the CEO while it looks for a permanent replacement for Davis. It named Chief Financial Officer Mark Hood and Mike Townsley, president of the foods division, to the office.The restaurant chain has been working with several advisory firms to improve its productivity and cost controls. It also said earlier this month it has hired the financial advisory firm Lazard to review its strategic and financial plans.
