virtualwall.org

Legislation to name a Veterans Affairs clinic in Newark after a solider who died in the Vietnam War has been introduced in Congress. The bill allows the U. S. Department of Veterans Affairs clinic in Newark to be named the Daniel L. Kinnard Department of Veterans Affairs Community Based Outpatient Clinic. Kinnard served as a medic  and was awarded a Bronze Star for tending to wounded men in his unit while under fire. The legislation is supported by various veterans groups in Ohio.
