The narrow defeat this month of the Groveport Madison Schools levy will result in a wide swath of cuts. The school board finalized four-million-dollars in cuts last night, including high school busing, extracurricular activities and nearly 20 teachers. The board also voted to streamline elementary-school attendance boundaries and restructure middle- and junior-high buildings for next school year. The levy failed by 12 votes after all the ballots were counted this week.
