Library Co-Op To Cut 75 Local Jobs

wikipedia

A Dublin-based global library cooperative says it will soon lay off 27 of its 750 local workers because of a decline in demand for services. OCLC - formerly known as Online Computer Library Center -  says members saw budget cuts after the Great Recession, causing a decline in the use of the company's services. OCLC says it will offer transition services to the affected workers.
