Licking County Crash Victims Identified

The State Highway Patrol has identified the man who was killed overnight in a chain-reaction crash involving three tractor-trailers and a pickup truck on eastbound Interstate 70 between state Routes 310 and 158 in Licking County. Troopers say 21-year-old pickup truck driver Caleb Miller was killed when a semi ran into the back of his vehicle, forcing it to collide with another semi. Two semi drivers, 46-year-old Ed Ferguson and 32-year-old Victor Hale, are hospitalized in Columbus with non-life-threatening injuries. Troopers say the vehicles were nearing a construction zone when Miller tried to merge between two of the semis.
