Liquor Sales Set A Record In 2013

The Ohio Division of Liquor Control says sales rose to a record 898 million dollars last year, up nearly 6 percent from the previous year. Retail sales rose by more than 7 percent to 635 million dollars last year. Wholesale sales of spirits to restaurants, bars and clubs rose by 2.5 percent to 264 million dollars. Sales grew at a higher rate than consumption.
