A federal grand jury has indicted a Westerville financial broker on charges of masterminding a scheme to defrauded an elderly investor out of more than 1.3 million dollars. Federal prosecutors say in a news release that 40-year-old Mark French met a client in 2009 while working for Investors Security Company. He allegedly advised the client to invest in precious metals, then told her to open joint bank accounts with his name on them so he could purchase the metals.
