Local Businessman Indicted For Fraud, Money Laundering

A Jefferson Township man has been indicted on federal charges of money laundering and loan fraud in connection with several Columbus properties. Among the allegations, 39-year-old Jason Gunsorek is charged with spending on other purposes a 700 thousand dollar loan he got for improving properties on North 4th Street and Fair Avenue. Gunsorek’s companies include Fair and Fourth LLC, Central Park ARC and Anchor Management Group. Gunsorek pleaded guilty in 2011 to three misdemeanor counts of workers’ compensation fraud. He planned to turn a former appliance store near I-70 and Alum Creek Drive into an indoor shooting range, but changed his mind after neighbors complained.
