Local Charity Operators Settles Fraud Claims With The State

A charity that operated in Columbus and Toledo has been closed amid allegations its operator kept much of the money raised.  Ohio Attorney General Mike DeWine says Darnell Robinson has agreed to dissolve Teens with Dreams and never to create another non-profit organization in the state.  DeWine says the group claimed to keep teens off the streets and do free work for seniors and the community. But investigators found the organization recruited teens to go door to door asking for money, which then went to Robinson, with the teens also keeping a portion of the funds.
