Local Dog Shelter Housing Canines Spooked By Fireworks

Franklin County Dog Shelter workers are trying to reunite dozens of canines with their owners after the Fourth of July weekend. More than 90 dogs ended up in the shelter after they were spooked by the sound of fireworks being detonated. Cleveland animal control officers say more than 50 stray dogs who were spooked by fireworks are being housed at their shelter. Franklin County officials say dogs not claimed by today could be put up for adoption.
