Local Gang Member Sentenced On Racketeering Charge

A member of the Short North Posse gang has been sentenced to 8 years in prison. Federal prosecutors say 30-year-old Tysin Gordon is one of 20 gang members and associates indicted in 2014 on racketeering and murder charges. Gordon pleaded guilty to one racketeering charge, which included his attempt to kill a rival gang member. Gordon is the first gang member to be sentenced. Two others will go on trial July 11. Another three go on trial in September.
