The Columbus Board of Realtors says nearly 24-hundred homes were sold in August, an increase of more than 12-percent over the same month last year.
Existing home sales for the year are now 11.6 percent above 2011. The median sale price rose by more than 14-thousand dollars last month from a year ago to more than 145-thousand dollars. Prices across the state rose an average of 5.2 percent from a year ago. August was the 14th straight month of statewide home sales increases.
