Local Inmate Charged In Murder-For-Hire Plot

An accused rapist is facing new charges after allegedly attempting to have his accuser killed.

Columbus police say 22-year-old Jamal Stafford was in jail awaiting trial when he hatched a murder-for-hire plot. Stafford has now been charged with conspiracy after police say an undercover officer posed as the would-be hit man.
