The Franklin County grand jury has indicted a man on charges of raping and kidnapping a woman in February of 1996. 35-year-old Roshawn Tatom allegedly grabbed a woman who was walking across the parking lot of Parsons Avenue Baptist Church, then beat her unconscious and raped her in a nearby field. Prosecutors say the indictment was issued after new DNA evidence came to light.
