Local Man Sentenced For Running Multi-State Marijuana Ring

The Columbus man who federal prosecutors say led a marijuana trafficking ring that stretched from central Ohio to Las Vegas has been sentenced to 12 years in prison.

48-year-old Adrian Douglas pleaded guilty last June to charges of conspiracy to distribute the drug and conspiracy to commit money laundering. Two other men received jail time in the case, and a third man awaits sentencing January 30th. All four are from Columbus and were indicted in February. Investigators documented more than 200 packages sent from Vegas to Columbus containing more than 3,000 kilograms of marijuana.
