Franklin County Public Health officials say mosquitoes trapped in a pool near Hilliard have tested positive for the West Nile Virus. It's the first time a pool of mosquitoes has tested positive this season. No local human cases have been reported. Health officials recommend people wear insect repellent with DEET when outdoors, limit outdoor activity to dusk or dawn, and remove standing water from around the home.
