Local Outlet Store Closing

JC Penny says it will close all 15 of its outlet stores in Ohio and 14 other states. The company blames declining sales. The outlet store on Park Crescent Drive on Columbus' far East side is among the facilities facing closure.  In January, 2011 the retailer said it planned to close the stores as part of a company reorganization. But the closings were shelved in October 2011 when the stores were acquired by a subsidiary of Schottenstein's.
