A descendant of Alexander Hamilton says the government's decision to continue depicting him on the 10 dollar bill is a victory for Hamilton supporters. Doug Hamilton of suburban Columbus had spoken against proposals for his great-great-great-great-great grandfather to be removed from the note or have a diminished role to make room for honoring a woman on the bill. Treasury officials say Hamilton will keep his spot while the back of the bill is changed.
