Local Schools Superintendent Placed On Leave, Sentenced On Drug Charges

The superintendent of the Hamilton Local Schools has been placed on paid administrative leave after police found crack cocaine in his car last Friday night. 54-year-old William Morrison was arrested on the Hilltop after police found crack cocaine and drug paraphernalia in his car. He has pleaded guilty to drug charges and will serve one year's probation. Assistant superintendent Mark Tyler takes over for Morrison on an interim basis.
