Magazine Gives Delaware County High Marks For Child Health

A new U.S. News and World report survey ranks Delaware County as the healthiest in the state for kids.

It was the only Ohio county to make the magazine's top 50 healthiest spots for children, coming in at 38. The report looked at low birth weights, infant death rates, teen birth rates and the number of uninsured children, among other characteristics. For the first time the ranking also looked at environmental concerns like air quality, adult smoking, and access to physicians and parks.
