The State Highway Patrol has filed charges against a Mount Vernon man accused of hitting a Danville police officer after leading officers on a chase across Knox County early Sunday.Troopers say 18-year-old Joshua Baldridge struck officer Chad Lishness on Route 62 in Millwood after he fled the scene of a robbery. Lishness is hospitalized in Columbus in fair condition.
