A judge has ordered a psychological evaluation for the suspect in the beating death of a 1-year-old boy found in Big Walnut Creek last December. 25-year-old Kurt Flood of Columbus has pleaded not guilty to killing 1-year-old Cameron Beckford, saying the boy was possessed by demons and was beaten to get rid of them. The evaluation will determine whether Flood is competent to stand trial. The child's mother pleaded guilty to involuntary manslaughter charges.
