Man Charged With Sexually Abusing Bellefontaine Woman Who Allegedly Killed Her Kids

The husband of the Bellefontaine woman charged with suffocating her three sons has been indicted on charges of sexually assaulting her when she was a teenager. 43-year-old Joseph Pilkington is being held in the Licking County Jail following his arrest in Newark. Pilkington was considered the stepfather of 23-year-old Brittany Pilkington when he impregnated her in 2009. He lived in her house since she was 9 and held himself out as her father. Brittany Pilkington has pleaded not guilty to multiple counts and remains jailed on 1 million dollars bond.
