Man Sentenced For 2013 East Side Rape

A Columbus man has been sentenced to 11 years in prison for taking a woman from a bus stop and raping her. 36-year-old Ronald Ayers was sentenced Wednesday after pleading guilty earlier this month to one count of rape. The victim told police Ayers approached her at an East side bus stop, placed what she thought was a gun in her back, and made her walk behind the vacant gas station where he raped her.
