The man charged with causing a fatal crash on the north outerbelt near State Route 161 last year will lose his driver's license for life. A judge has also sentenced 27-year-old Walter Dixon to five years' probation and 150 hours of community service. Smith was speeding when he crashed into a car parked on the berm because it had run out of gas. The driver, 18-year-old Brandon Smith, was killed.
