clevescene.com

A Lakewood man will serve two years in federal prison for conspiring to defraud a credit union out of more than 3.7 million dollars. 66-year-old Sako Satka must make restitution to the National Credit Union Administration, which took over the now-defunct St. Paul Croatian Federal Credit Union in 2010. Satka pleaded guilty to conspiracy, bank fraud and to paying bribes to 56-year-old Anthony Raguz, the former head of the credit union, who approved loans to Satka. Raguz is serving a 14-year prison sentence.
