Man Sentenced In Fatal Shooting Of Columbus Teen

A Columbus man will serve 20 years in prison for killing a friend last December. 19-year-old Malik Whatley claimed the shooting of 17-year-old Jordan Moore was accidential because he was playing with what he thought was an unloaded handgun. Whatley was sentenced on an involuntary manslaughter charge and for violating the terms of his probation.  Moore was killed in the basement of a Dellwood Avenue home.
