Knox County prosecutors say a Mount Vernon man has pleaded guilty to stabbing and killing an 80-year-old woman last April. 34-year-old Tyrone Caldwell was sentenced Monday to life in prison for the death of Marilyn Eversole during an apparent burglary at her home. Caldwell also pleaded guilty to attacking Eversole's home health care worker.
