Man Sentenced For Slaying Outside Local Bar

A Franklin County judge has sentenced a Columbus man to life in prison for killing another man during a robbery at an East side bar last year. 36-year-old Derrick Peeples was convicted of shooting and killing 40-year-old Jerome Crockett at a bar at Beechwood Road and East Livingston Avenue.
