A man was sentenced to four years in prison yesterday for his role in the shooting death of a former University of Kentucky men's basketball player. Richard Willis pleaded guilty in February to killing 31-year-old Desmond Allison in July 2011 while the victim was standing in front of a home on the 2 thousand block of Maryland Avenue in Columbus.
