The Reynoldsburg man shot and wounded by Columbus police over the weekend now faces a weapons charge. 23-year-old Timothy Slaughter was shot by 31-year-old officer Ryan Vanfossan last Saturday morning in the 41 hundred block of Dundee Avenue. Police officials say Vanfossan was told Slaughter was armed when he responded to a report the suspect was harassing a woman.
