Columbus police say an officer shot and wounded a man last night after the man allegedly fired a gun into his girlfriend's South Side home.26-year-old Thomas Bell is hospitalized in stable condition following the shooting at a home in the 7-hundred block of Heyl Avenue. Police have yet to say whether bell fired the gun or pointed it at the officer who opened fire. The name of that officer has not been released.
