Man Shot At Port Columbus May Have Been Trying To Hijack A Plane

Columbus Division of Police

Columbus police say the officers who shot and killed a knife-wielding attacker at Port Columbus last week may have stopped a hijacking. Police say counter-terrorism detectives are looking at Hashim Hanif Ibn Abdul-Rasheed's emails, texts and voicemails to find links to their theory.  Investigators found knives taped to his legs after he was killed and more weapons, computers and a gas mask in his car.
